Enter RealSafe.net’s email address into your
address book. When you create a contact name for
Realsafe.net’s address we suggest that you place a "1" in front of the name so that it will always appear first on your
contact list.
Note:
By doing this RealSafe.net should always appear first in you
address book contacts, making is easier and faster to find and
send a photo to Realsafe.net. Please check with your carrier
for other convenient ways to pre-program your phone for ease of
use.
Step 2
The first photo that you send to RealSafe.net
should be of yourself. This way we will have a photo record
of you for identification purposes. Send your name with your
picture in the text portion of your email. Each time you
send a photo to Realsafe.net you will receive an e-mail,
confirming that RealSafe.net received your photo.
Please check your
phone’s manual or call your service provider for help on sending
e-mails and photos e-mails.
Example:
Send a photo e-mail
To: Realsafe.net's
e-mail address supplied with membership
Subject: New member
Text:
[your full name] e.g. John W. Smith
Picture:
(your personal photo here)
Note:
Some model phones are capable of sending voice messages as well
as text. If you choose to send a voice message, it must be a
separate email from the photo e-mail. Due to the wide
variety camera phone
systems, RealSafe.net may not be able to open the voice
file if it is sent in the same e-mail with a photo.
Helpful
Hints
-
Your camera phone has settings to adjust the quality level of
the picture taken. If you use the lowest quality setting,
your picture message will be sent quicker.
It takes less time
to send low-resolution pictures. You may want to preset
the default photo quality (resolution) of your camera phone
prior to your scheduled meetings.
-
Do not end the call, turn off your phone, or close your flip
phone, until the message is completely sent. If you do you
will cancel the e-mail and RealSafe.net will not receive your
information.
-
Just prior to your meeting when you are not feeling rushed,
you may send an e-mail, using text to enter the name of the
person you are meeting, their phone number, the address where
you are meeting, and any other important data. Then when
you meet with the customer/ stranger/vendor/etc., all you need
to do is send another e-mail with the photo. The two e-mails
will be stored adjacent to each other because of the time and
date stamp storage feature.
-
When you are taking the photo
make sure that you are not shooting into the sun to avoid
your subjects face appearing in a shadow.
-
Depending upon your make and
model phone, some camera phones will allow you to start and
save an unsent e-mail allowing you to resume the process at
a later time. If your camera phone has this ability,
start a picture e-mail, put in Realsafe.net's members
e-mail address and save the unsent e-mail. If needed
at a later time, you may resume the e-mail process, include
the new photo and press send.
